What Elephants Teach Us

When God wants to teach us about compassion, memory, and what it means to care deeply for others, He doesn’t need a sermon — He just points us to the elephant.
Compassion on the Cold Creek

🦉 When compassion calls, will Jessie answer?
Jessie was hustling toward the barn with a long list of chores when he heard the strangest sound – a soft, hurt little hoot coming from behind the old oak tree by Cold Creek. There, sitting all hunched up and shivering, was a beautiful great horned owl with a dragging wing and a cut on her head, looking up at him with big, round eyes that seemed to say, “Please help me.”
Love & Compassion

As Christian parents, our understanding of love and compassion is rooted in the very nature of God. The Bible tells us that “God is love” (1 John 4:8), and this divine love is the model for how we should love others.
