Set Free! God’s Promise of Freedom for the World

Today, we discover God’s awesome promise to set the whole world free, as found in Romans 8:21.
Verse Of The Day:
“...the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.” (Romans 8:21)
Have you ever noticed how things break, get old, or stop working—like your favorite toy, or when flowers wilt? Romans 8:21 teaches that even creation feels “stuck” or trapped sometimes! But here’s the good news: God has promised to set everything free.
One day, God will rescue the whole world from everything that hurts, spoils, or decays. Flowers will never wilt, animals will be safe, and people will live in perfect freedom and happiness.
When we feel sad about broken things, we can remember: God’s plan is to make the whole world free and full of His glory!
Freedom Garden Craft:
Plant a flower, draw a butterfly, or build a pretend cage and set a toy “free.” Label your craft “Set Free!” This helps us remember God’s promise to rescue creation and bring perfect freedom.
Time For A Prayer:
Dear God, thank You for promising to set the world free from everything that hurts or goes wrong. Help me trust Your plan to bring freedom, hope, and new life to all creation. Fill my heart with joy as I wait for Your promises to come true. Amen.
