Mission Briefing
God’s Word: True from Start to Finish
Imagine a book where every single page – from the very first word to the very last – is completely true. That’s exactly what the Bible is! Psalm 119 celebrates how amazing God’s Word really is. This mission explores Psalm 119:160.
What Does Psalm 119:160 Mean?
“The sum of your word is truth” means that when you add it all up – every story, every law, every poem, every prophecy – the whole Bible together is completely true. And God’s rules aren’t just true for a little while. They last forever! What God said thousands of years ago is still right and true today.
Hero Challenge
Find a verse from the Old Testament and a verse from the New Testament about the same topic – like kindness, or courage. Notice how both parts of the Bible agree! That’s because the whole Bible comes from the same God of truth.
Did You Know?
Psalm 119 is the longest chapter in the entire Bible – it has 176 verses! Almost every single verse mentions God’s Word using different names like “law,” “commands,” “statutes,” and “rules.” The writer of this psalm was absolutely in love with the Bible. Can you read the whole chapter sometime as a challenge?
