"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." (Galatians 6:9)

Imagine you’re a farmer planting seeds, knowing that each seed holds the potential for growth and nourishment. Like the farmer, Galatians 6:9 encourages us to keep planting seeds of goodness and kindness in our lives and communities, even when it feels tiresome or when results aren’t immediately visible.

This verse reminds us that the fruits of our labor are often not instant but require patience and continued effort. It challenges us to persist in doing good, reassuring us that our efforts will eventually yield a rich harvest of blessings if we don’t lose heart.

Good Deeds Garden:

Create a “Good Deeds Garden” board where each good deed is represented by a flower or plant sticker. As you and your community members perform acts of kindness, add a sticker to the garden. Watch as the garden grows over time, visually representing the accumulation of good deeds and their potential to bring about positive change.

Time For A Prayer:

Heavenly Father, instill in us the strength to continue doing good, even when it’s hard. Help us to remain steadfast in our efforts, knowing that the harvest we await will be plentiful and joyous if we do not give up. May our actions always reflect Your love and patience. Amen.
