In Matthew 6:11, Jesus teaches us to pray, ‘Give us today our daily bread.’
Imagine waking up every morning and knowing that God has a special provision for you. Just like we need food to give us strength, Jesus wants us to understand that God cares about our daily needs. He invites us to ask Him for what we need each day.
When we pray and ask God for our daily bread, we’re not just talking about food. Our ‘daily bread’ represents all the things we need to live each day. It could be food, clothes, shelter, or anything that helps us live and thrive.
God is our loving Heavenly Father who knows what we need even before we ask Him. He wants us to trust Him and rely on Him completely. He promises to provide for us in His perfect timing and in ways that are best for us.
So, today, let's remember to pray and ask God for our daily needs.
Let’s trust that He will provide everything we need. And as we receive our daily bread, let’s also remember to be thankful and share with others who might be in need. God is faithful, and He cares for us every single day!
