Gift Givers: Sharing Perfect Gifts

Hello, Faith Force Gift Givers! Let’s unwrap the meaning behind James 1:17 and learn how every good gift comes from above.

Verse Of The Day:

"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." (James 1:17)

Imagine the sky opening up and down floats a stream of wonderful gifts, each wrapped with love and care. James 1:17 tells us that this is how God gives us His gifts—constantly, generously, and perfectly. Just like the sun that lights up the earth without ever moving from its place, God’s goodness shines on us all the time.

These gifts aren’t just things we can touch, like toys or books; they’re also the laughter we share, the love we feel, and the peace we find in tough times. By recognizing that every good thing in our lives is a gift from God, we learn to appreciate our blessings more and can also become gift givers ourselves, sharing our blessings with others.

Heavenly Gifts Balloon Activity:

Blow up some balloons and on each one, write a gift you’ve received from God, like health, family, or happiness. Decorate your balloons and hang them around your room or house as a reminder of the good gifts you have. You can even pop one balloon each day and thank God specifically for that gift.

Time For A Prayer:

Father in Heaven, thank you for showering us with perfect gifts every day. Help us to recognize Your blessings in our lives and to be grateful for them. Inspire us to share these gifts with others, spreading Your love and kindness wherever we go. Amen.

Keep sharing your heavenly gifts, Faith Force Gift Givers! Remember, until our next Divine Dispatch, every day is an opportunity to be thankful for God’s perfect gifts and to give generously to others.
