"Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand." (Ephesians 6:13)
Imagine you’re a knight preparing for a big battle. Instead of a sword and shield, Ephesians 6:13 tells us about a different kind of armor—spiritual armor that protects us from life’s challenges and temptations. This armor includes truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the word of God.
This verse teaches us that life can sometimes feel like a battle, where we face difficulties that try to shake us. By putting on God’s armor, we prepare ourselves to face these challenges head-on, not alone, but with God’s strength and protection. It’s about being ready each day to stand firm in our faith and values, no matter what comes our way.
