It's Better to Give
Are you ready to learn about the joy of giving?
In Acts 20:35, it says, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’
Imagine holding a beautifully wrapped gift in your hands. It’s exciting, right? Well, did you know that giving a gift can be even more exciting and joyful than receiving one? That’s what God’s Word tells us!
When we give, whether it’s a gift, our time, or our kindness, something amazing happens. We experience the joy of making someone else happy. It’s like a warm, fuzzy feeling inside our hearts. God designed us to be givers, just like He is.
You see, God is the ultimate giver. He gave us the greatest gift of all, His Son Jesus, who came to save us and show us God’s love. And because we are loved by God, we can share that love with others by giving.
Giving can take many forms. It can be sharing our toys with a friend, helping someone in need, or showing kindness with our words. When we give, we become a part of God’s plan to bring joy and love to the world.
So, today, let's remember that it's better to give than to receive!
Let’s find joy in giving, knowing that our acts of kindness and generosity make a difference. Let’s follow the example of our loving Heavenly Father, who gives us everything we need. Let’s be givers and spread love wherever we go!
