Ultimate Love: The Bridge to God
Verse Of The Day:
"For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit." (1 Peter 3:18)
Imagine there’s a huge canyon separating two cliffs. On one side is us, and on the other side is God. No matter how hard we try, we can’t jump across; the gap is too wide because of something called sin. But then, Jesus builds a bridge with His love and sacrifice. 1 Peter 3:18 tells us that Jesus, who was without any wrongdoings, took our place and suffered so that we wouldn’t have to be separated from God anymore.
This verse shows us just how much Jesus loves us. He made the ultimate sacrifice to build a bridge to God, so we can have a close friendship with Him. It’s a reminder of the incredible gift we’ve been given and the chance to live a life filled with God’s love and guidance.
Bridge of Love Craft:
Create your own “Bridge of Love” using paper, cardboard, or craft sticks. Decorate your bridge with symbols of love and sacrifice, such as crosses, hearts, or doves. On one side, write or draw things that represent life without God, and on the other, illustrate the joy and peace of being connected with Him. Let this bridge be a reminder of the path Jesus made for us.
Time For A Prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for Your amazing love and the sacrifice You made to bring us to God. Help us never to forget the bridge You built for us and to walk across it with gratitude every day. Teach us to live in the light of Your love and to share it with others. Amen.
