God Sings Over You!
Did you know that God actually sings? And the most amazing part – He sings over YOU! Zephaniah wrote one of the most beautiful verses in the whole Bible, and it is all about how much God loves and celebrates you. This mission explores Zephaniah 3:17.
What Does Zephaniah 3:17 Mean?
This verse says God is right there with you like a mighty warrior – He’s powerful and He wins! But He’s not just strong; He’s also deeply loving. He is so happy about you that He REJOICES and SINGS over you with joy. When you feel scared or alone, His love is like a quiet, calming song that settles your heart. You are so loved that God bursts into song about you!
Hero Challenge
This week, whenever you feel worried or like nobody cares, whisper to yourself: “God is singing over me right now.” Try writing a short song or poem back to God telling Him how much you love Him too. It’s okay if it’s silly – He loves hearing from you!
Did You Know?
Zephaniah was a prophet who spoke to the people of Judah at a very dark time in their history. Even in that darkness, God told them through Zephaniah that He still loved them and would restore them. The name Zephaniah means “the Lord hides” or “the Lord has hidden” – a reminder that God is always near, even when hidden from our sight.
