All Things Work Together: God's Amazing Promise
Welcome, Faith Force Promise Holders! Today, we’re discovering one of God’s most comforting promises about how He works in our lives, as taught in Romans 8:28.
Verse Of The Day:
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28)
Have you ever had something disappointing or difficult happen and wondered, “How could this ever be good?” Romans 8:28 gives us an amazing promise that helps us through tough times!
This verse tells us that God is always working behind the scenes in our lives. Like a master chef who combines ingredients that might taste bad on their own to create something delicious, God takes all the experiences in our lives—both the happy and the hard ones—and works them together for good.
This doesn’t mean everything that happens is good. Some things are sad or painful. But it does mean that God is powerful enough to bring good results even from difficult situations for those who love Him. Nothing is wasted in God’s plan!
God's Recipe Box:
Decorate a small box or container as a “recipe box.” On recipe cards, write down different experiences you’ve had—both good and challenging ones. On each card, also write “God works this for good because…” and fill in how God might use that experience in your life. Add new cards as you have new experiences!
Time For A Prayer:
Dear God, thank You for Your amazing promise that You work all things together for good in our lives. When we face hard times, help us remember that You are working behind the scenes. Thank You that nothing is wasted in Your plan. Help us trust You even when we don't understand. Amen.
