Welcome, Faith Force Faithful Champions! Today, we’re learning about the incredible victory crown that God gives to those who stay faithful through any challenge, as shared in Revelation 2:10.
Verse Of The Day:
"Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor's crown." (Revelation 2:10)
Have you ever watched Olympic athletes receive their gold medals and victory crowns? God has an even more amazing crown waiting for faithful people!
Jesus tells us “Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer” – He’s honest that life will have challenges, but we don’t need to be scared! The key instruction is “be faithful” – no matter what happens, keep trusting God, keep doing right, and keep following Jesus. Even when it’s really hard, stay faithful!
Here’s the incredible reward: “I will give you life as your victor’s crown.” This isn’t just any prize – it’s the “crown of life” that lasts forever! When athletes win crowns, they eventually tarnish and get put away. But God’s victor’s crown for faithful people never fades and never gets taken away. Every time we choose to be faithful when it’s difficult, we’re earning points toward the ultimate victory crown!
Faithful Victor's Crown:
Cut a crown shape from golden cardboard or yellow construction paper and decorate it with stars, ribbons, and jewel stickers. Write “Faithful Victor” on the front. Create a “Faithfulness Tracking Chart” to keep with your crown – each time you choose to be faithful when it’s hard (like being kind when someone’s mean, telling the truth when it’s difficult, or helping when you don’t feel like it), add a star sticker to your crown. Wear your crown to remind yourself that God has an incredible victor’s crown waiting for all who stay faithful!
Time For A Prayer:
Dear Jesus, help us be faithful no matter what challenges we face! When things get difficult, remind us not to be afraid but to stay faithful to You. Thank You for the amazing promise of the victor's crown of life for those who remain faithful. Give us strength to keep following You even when it's hard. We want to win Your ultimate victory crown! Amen.
