Welcome, Faith Force Living Word Proclaimers! Today, we’re discovering one of Jesus’ most amazing titles that shows He IS God’s message to the world, as shared in Revelation 19:13.
Verse Of The Day:
"He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God." (Revelation 19:13)
Have you ever heard someone’s name that immediately told you something important about who they are? Jesus has a name that reveals something incredible about His identity!
This verse shows us Jesus in His glory, “dressed in a robe dipped in blood” – representing His sacrifice for us on the cross. But the most amazing part is “his name is the Word of God.” This isn’t just a title; it’s who Jesus truly IS!
When we call Jesus “the Word of God,” it means He is God’s complete message to humanity. Just like words communicate thoughts and ideas, Jesus communicates everything God wants us to know about His love, plan, and character. Jesus isn’t just bringing God’s message – He IS God’s message! Every word He spoke, every action He took, and every miracle He performed was God communicating directly with us. When we want to know what God is like, we look at Jesus, the living Word of God!
The Word of God Banner:
Take a long strip of fabric or white sheet and create your “Jesus – The Word of God” banner! Use fabric paint, markers, or stencils to write “JESUS – THE WORD OF GOD” in beautiful, bold letters. Add decorative elements like crowns, crosses, or open books to represent how Jesus is God’s ultimate communication to us. Hang your banner in your room and practice saying “Jesus is the Word of God” to remember that He IS God’s complete message to the world. Every time you see your banner, remember that when you want to know what God is like, look at Jesus!
Time For A Prayer:
Dear Jesus, thank You for being the Word of God - God's complete message to us! Help us understand that when we want to know what God is like, we can look at You. Thank You that You didn't just bring God's message, but You ARE God's message of love, salvation, and hope. Help us treasure Your amazing name and what it means for our lives! Amen.
