Mission Briefing
Hand It Over to God and Watch What He Does!
What if you had a superhero friend who said, “Just trust me with that problem – I’ll handle it”? That’s exactly what God says to us every single day! When we hand our worries and plans to Him, He goes to work. This mission explores Psalm 37:5.
What Does Psalm 37:5 Mean?
“Commit your way” means to give your whole path in life over to God – your plans, your worries, your dreams. It’s like handing God the steering wheel of a car and letting Him drive. When we trust God with our plans instead of trying to figure everything out ourselves, He promises to act – to step in and work things out. That doesn’t mean we stop trying or stop working hard. It means we do our part and then trust Him to do His.
Hero Challenge
Is there something you are trying to figure out all by yourself right now – a decision, a worry, or a big dream? This week, pray about it every day and ask God to guide you. Keep a small journal or even sticky notes about how you are trusting Him with it.
Did You Know?
Psalm 37 was written by King David, who faced many scary situations in his life – including being chased by enemies and making some big mistakes. Yet David kept coming back to trusting God. He learned from personal experience that handing his life over to God was always the right choice.
