“The word of the Lord is right and true” – this means God’s word isn’t just mostly accurate or generally correct, but completely right and perfectly true every single time. When God says something, it sets the standard for what’s right. There’s never been an error, mistake, or inaccuracy in any word from God.
But it goes beyond just words: “he is faithful in all he does.” God doesn’t just speak perfectly – He acts perfectly too! Everything God does matches His perfect words. His actions are always faithful, reliable, and consistent with His promises. When you need a perfect standard for truth and faithfulness, God’s word and actions are the ultimate measuring stick!
