Mission Briefing
Walk Straight, Stand Secure
Have you ever tried to walk on a wobbly surface versus solid ground? Integrity is like solid ground – it makes every step secure. But when we try to sneak around with dishonesty, we’re always one step away from tripping! This mission explores Proverbs 10:9.
What Does Proverbs 10:9 Mean?
“Integrity” means being the same person on the inside as you are on the outside – no hidden tricks, no double life. When you have integrity, you don’t have to remember which lies you told to which people. You just live straight and walk secure. But “crooked ways” – sneaky, dishonest behavior – always gets uncovered eventually. God sees everything, and the truth has a way of coming out.
Hero Challenge
This week, try an “integrity check” each night. Ask yourself: Was I the same person in private as I was in public today? Was there anything I’d be embarrassed if others saw? Use it to grow – not to feel bad, but to get stronger.
Did You Know?
The word “integrity” comes from the same root as “integer” in math – a whole number, not a fraction. Integrity means being whole – completely yourself, not divided into a public person and a secret person. Solomon knew that the happiest and most successful people weren’t the sneakiest – they were the most consistent and honest.

Ages 10-13: Champion Question
Are there any areas of your life where you act differently in private than in public? What would it look like to bring those into alignment?
