You're a Citizen of Heaven!
Welcome, Faith Force Heavenly Citizens! Today, we’re discovering our amazing true citizenship and the incredible transformation Jesus has planned for us, as shared in Philippians 3:20-21.
Verse Of The Day:
"But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body." (Philippians 3:20-21)
Did you know you have dual citizenship? You might live on Earth, but your real citizenship is in heaven! That makes you incredibly special.
Paul tells us “our citizenship is in heaven” – which means heaven is our true home! Just like people get excited about their earthly country, we can be excited about our heavenly citizenship. We “eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.” We’re not just waiting; we’re eagerly waiting because we know something amazing is coming!
Here’s the most incredible part: Jesus “will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.” Our earthly bodies get tired, hurt, and sick, but Jesus will completely transform them to be like His perfect, glorious body! No more pain, no more getting tired, no more sickness – just perfect, glorious bodies that will last forever!
Heavenly Citizenship Certificate:
Take a piece of colorful construction paper and create your official “Heavenly Citizenship Certificate”! Write your name and “Citizen of Heaven” in big, beautiful letters. Decorate it with stars, clouds, crowns, and anything that reminds you of heaven’s glory. Sign it and put today’s date. Keep it where you can see it and remember – you’re a citizen of heaven, and Jesus is preparing to transform you for your eternal home!
Time For A Prayer:
Dear Jesus, thank You for making us citizens of heaven! Help us remember that heaven is our true home and that we belong to You. We're so excited that one day You'll transform our bodies to be like Your glorious body. Help us live as heavenly citizens while we eagerly wait for You! Amen.
Keep living as proud citizens of heaven, Faith Force Heavenly Citizens! Until our next Divine Dispatch, remember that your citizenship is in heaven and Jesus will transform you for your eternal home!
