Have you ever seen someone do something nice but then tell everyone about it? “Look what I did!” “Did you see how generous I was?” “Everyone, watch me help this person!”

Jesus warns us not to be like show-offs who announce their good deeds loudly so everyone will praise them. These people already got their reward – the applause and attention from others. But that reward doesn’t last very long!

Instead, Jesus says “when you give to someone, do it secretly.” This means helping others without bragging about it, giving without announcing it, and doing kind things when no one is watching. Why? Because “your Father, who sees what you do in secret, will reward you.”

Here’s the amazing truth – God sees EVERYTHING you do, even when no one else notices! When you help someone and don’t tell anyone about it, God sees. When you share without bragging, God sees. When you give quietly without seeking praise, God sees and rewards you in ways that last forever!

The best kindness happens in secret, not in front of a crowd.
