Get Ready – A Brand New World Is Coming!
Imagine waking up one day to find that everything sad, painful, and scary is completely gone – replaced by something so incredible that you don’t even think about the hard stuff anymore. That is exactly what God promises in Isaiah! This mission explores Isaiah 65:17.
What Does Isaiah 65:17 Mean?
God is not going to just improve the world – He is going to CREATE something brand new. New heavens, a new earth. And here’s the extraordinary part: the hard things, the pain, the loss, the grief – it won’t even come to mind anymore. It’s not that we’ll forget it by accident – God promises that the new creation will be so glorious that the old sorrows simply won’t have room in our hearts. This is the ultimate hope for every person who has ever suffered.

Draw a picture of what you imagine “new heavens and a new earth” might look like. What would be there? What wouldn’t be there? Share your drawing and talk about it with your family. Let it spark a conversation about the incredible future God is preparing.
Did You Know?
Isaiah wrote these words almost 700 years before Jesus was born. He was describing a future that went far beyond anything he had seen – a complete renewal of everything. The New Testament also talks about this new creation, and both the Old and New Testaments agree: God has a breathtaking future planned that goes beyond our imaginations (1 Corinthians 2:9).
