Mission Briefing
Suit Up in God’s Power
Imagine if you could put on an invisible suit of armor every single morning – armor that no weapon could break through. The apostle Paul says that’s exactly what God offers us! But this armor doesn’t come from a store or a lab. It comes straight from the strongest power in the universe: God Himself. This mission explores Ephesians 6:10.
What Does Ephesians 6:10 Mean?
Paul is telling us that real strength doesn’t come from how big our muscles are or how smart we are. It comes from staying close to God and relying on His power. “Strong in the Lord” means letting God be your source of energy, courage, and ability. When you plug into God, you’re connected to the greatest power ever – the same power that created everything!
Hero Challenge
Each morning this week, say this out loud before you start your day: “I am strong in the Lord and in His mighty power!” Then think of one specific thing God needs to be strong through you that day – at school, at home, or with a friend. Watch how your day changes when you start it connected to God’s strength.
Did You Know?
Right after this verse, Paul describes the “full armor of God” – a belt, breastplate, shield, helmet, and sword. He was surrounded by Roman soldiers when he wrote this, and he used their armor as a picture of the spiritual protection God gives us. Every piece of a soldier’s armor has a meaning for how God protects us.

Lord, I want to be strong in You, not just in myself. Help me to start every day plugged into Your power and to trust that Your strength is always enough for whatever I face. Amen.
