Your Amazing Light Transformation!
Welcome, Faith Force Light Children! Today, we’re learning about our transformation from darkness to light, as shared in Ephesians 5:8-9.
Verse Of The Day:
"For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth)" (Ephesians 5:8-9)
Have you ever seen how professional lighting completely transforms a dark photo into something beautiful? That’s exactly what God does with our lives!
Paul says “you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord.” This isn’t just about being in darkness – we WERE darkness! But something amazing happened: “now you are light in the Lord.” We became completely different people when we accepted Jesus!
Because of this transformation, “Live as children of light.” We should act like the light-filled people we’ve become! What does light produce? “The fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth.” Just like apple trees produce apples, children of light naturally produce goodness (being kind and helpful), righteousness (doing what’s right), and truth (being honest). These three fruits prove our transformation is real!
From Darkness to Light Transformation Album:
Create a flip album using black paper for “Once Darkness” and white/yellow paper for “Now Light.” On the dark side, write old behaviors you left behind. On the light side, write the fruit of light you’re producing: goodness, righteousness, truth. Flip between them to remember your amazing transformation!
Time For A Prayer:
Dear God, thank You for transforming us from darkness to light! Help us live as children of light and produce the fruit of goodness, righteousness, and truth in everything we do. Remind us daily that we're not who we used to be - we're light in You! Amen.
Keep producing light’s fruit, Faith Force Light Children! Until our next Divine Dispatch, remember you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord!
