The Ultimate Quality Control Test!
Welcome, Faith Force Wise Testers! Today, we’re learning to test everything carefully before accepting it, as shared in 1 Thessalonians 5:21-22.
Verse Of The Day:
"but test them all; hold on to what is good, reject every kind of evil." (1 Thessalonians 5:21-22)
Have you ever seen quality control workers carefully testing products before they’re approved? Paul teaches us to test everything in life the same way!
“Test them all” – don’t just automatically accept everything you hear, see, or are told to believe. Test it! Ask questions like “Is this true? Is this good? Does this match what God says?” Just like quality inspectors examine products carefully, we should examine ideas, teachings, friendships, and activities.
After testing, we do two things: “hold on to what is good” (keep what passes the test!) and “reject every kind of evil” (throw out anything that fails). Don’t hold onto things just because they’re popular or everyone else accepts them. Be a careful tester who only keeps what’s truly good!
Test Everything Sorting System:
Create three bins or boxes labeled “GOOD – Keep,” “EVIL – Reject,” and “Testing.” Throughout the week, write different things you encounter (TV shows, advice from friends, social media trends) on cards. Test each one against God’s Word, then sort them into the right bin. Only keep what’s truly good!
Time For A Prayer:
Dear God, help us test everything carefully instead of automatically accepting what we see and hear! Give us wisdom to recognize what's truly good and courage to reject every kind of evil. Help us be careful quality controllers who only hold onto what passes Your tests! Amen.
