Jesus: Your Priceless Four-in-One Treasure!
Welcome, Faith Force Treasure Holders! Today, we’re discovering the incredible four-in-one treasure we have in Jesus – He’s not just one good thing, but four amazing treasures all wrapped up in one person, as shared in 1 Corinthians 1:30.
Verse Of The Day:
"It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God - that is, our righteousness, sanctification and redemption." (1 Corinthians 1:30)
Have you ever found a treasure chest with multiple precious gems inside? That’s what having Jesus is like – He’s our four-in-one spiritual treasure!
Paul says Jesus “has become for us wisdom from God” – that’s treasure number one! Jesus gives us God’s wisdom to know right from wrong and make good choices. Then Paul lists three more treasures: Jesus is “our righteousness” (He makes us right with God), “sanctification” (He makes us holy and set apart for God), and “redemption” (He bought us back and saved us from sin).
The amazing thing is that we don’t have to earn these treasures or work for them separately. “It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus” – when we belong to Jesus, we automatically get all four treasures at once! We don’t just get wisdom OR righteousness OR sanctification OR redemption – we get all four incredible treasures in the one amazing person of Jesus Christ!
Jesus Our Four-in-One Treasure Box:
Take a cardboard egg carton and cut off a section with four cups. Paint or cover it with gold paper to make it look like a treasure box. In each compartment, place different colored items (buttons, stickers, or small toys) and label them: “Wisdom” (blue – for clear thinking), “Righteousness” (white – for being made right with God), “Sanctification” (purple – for being set apart as holy), and “Redemption” (red – for being saved). Keep your treasure box where you can see it and remember that in Jesus, you have all four priceless spiritual treasures at once!
Time For A Prayer:
Dear Jesus, thank You for being our amazing four-in-one treasure! Thank You that when we belong to You, we get Your wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption all at once. Help us remember how incredibly valuable these treasures are and never take them for granted. Thank You for being everything we need in one wonderful Savior! Amen.
