One King Over Everything!
Think about the greatest king or leader you have ever heard of in a story. Now imagine someone even greater – a King over every single country, every mountain, every ocean, and every person on earth. That is exactly what Zechariah saw in a vision from God, and it is a promise that is still coming true! This mission explores Zechariah 14:9.
What Does Zechariah 14:9 Mean?
The prophet Zechariah was telling God’s people about a future day when everything would finally be made right. There will come a time when God is recognized as King over the entire earth – not just one nation, but all of them. No more confusion about who is in charge. No more arguments about what is true. Just one Lord, one name, one King. That is a future worth looking forward to!

Even now, before that great day comes, you can honor God as your King. This week, try starting each morning by saying out loud, “God, You are King over my day.” See how it changes the way you make choices and treat people around you.
Did You Know?
Zechariah was a prophet who lived when God’s people had just returned from being exiles in Babylon. He encouraged them with visions of a glorious future God had planned. His name actually means “God remembers” – and this verse shows that God never forgets His promise to reign over all creation.
