This favoritism incited jealousy among his brothers, leading them to sell him into slavery in Egypt. Despite his misfortunes, including wrongful imprisonment, Joseph’s ability to interpret dreams and his steadfast faith in God eventually led him to rise to prominence. He became the second-in-command in Egypt, overseeing the nation’s response to a severe famine and ultimately reuniting with his family, providing them with refuge and sustenance.
- Interpreted Pharaoh’s Dreams: Joseph interpreted Pharaoh’s dreams, predicting seven years of plenty followed by seven years of famine. His accurate interpretation led to Egypt’s preparation for the crisis and his elevation to a position of great power.
