Overflowing with Hope
Have you ever felt so excited about something that you could barely contain it? That’s what this verse is all about – God wants to fill you up with so much hope, joy, and peace that it overflows right out of you! This mission explores Romans 15:13.
What Does Romans 15:13 Mean?
Paul wrote this prayer wishing that the God of hope would fill believers with joy and peace. When we trust God – really believe in Him – the Holy Spirit gives us more hope than we can even hold. It’s like a cup that keeps getting filled up and spills over the sides. God doesn’t give us just a little hope; He gives us an abundance of it.

This week, write down three things you are hoping for and pray about each one. Then look for one person around you who seems sad or discouraged and share a word of hope with them. When you share hope, it multiplies!
Did You Know?
The book of Romans was written by Paul as a letter to believers living in Rome – the most powerful city in the world at the time. Paul wanted them to know that no matter how big and scary the world seemed, God’s hope was bigger. Hope is mentioned over 60 times just in the New Testament!
