Mission Briefing
God Is Worthy of Everything!
In the book of Revelation, the apostle John is given a glimpse into heaven itself – and what he sees is breathtaking. Creatures and elders surround the throne of God, and they cannot stop saying one thing over and over: “Worthy are You, Lord!” When you see God as He truly is, that is the only response that makes sense. This mission explores Revelation 4:11.
What Does Revelation 4:11 Mean?
“Worthy” means deserving – fully earning something because of who you are. God is worthy of glory, honor, and power because He created everything. Every galaxy, every ocean, every creature, every person – all of it exists because God willed it into being. He did not create because He needed anything. He created out of His own love and purpose. That makes Him worthy of our greatest praise and deepest awe.
Hero Challenge
Write your own short declaration of worship this week – just one or two sentences starting with “You are worthy, Lord, because…” and finish it with something specific about God that amazes you. Say it out loud to God as a prayer. You are joining your voice with the angels in heaven when you do!
Did You Know?
The four creatures in Revelation 4 represent all of creation – wild animals, livestock, humans, and birds – giving praise to God. Even creation itself worships Him! The scene John saw was so overwhelming that he could barely describe it. Some Bible scholars believe Revelation 4 gives us a glimpse of what worship in heaven is like all the time. What an amazing thing to look forward to one day!

Ages 10-13: Champion Question
Worship in heaven is described as constant and overflowing. What would it look like for your everyday life – at school, with friends, doing chores – to be an act of worship to a God you believe is truly worthy?
♥ Mission Prayer
Lord, You are worthy of all glory, honor, and power. You created everything — including me — and I exist because You willed it. Help me to live in a way that says "You are worthy" with every breath I take. Amen.
