Share the Amazing Things God Has Done!
Have you ever been so excited about something that you just HAD to tell everyone about it? That’s exactly how Psalm 105 starts – a burst of praise and an invitation to shout God’s goodness to the whole world! This mission explores Psalms 105:1.
What Does Psalms 105:1 Mean?
“Give thanks” is about recognizing what God has done and responding with a grateful heart. “Call upon his name” means going to God in prayer – trusting He hears us. And “make known his deeds among the peoples” is the exciting part: we get to TELL others about the amazing things God has done! It’s like being on God’s hype team – sharing the incredible deeds of the greatest Hero of all time!
Hero Challenge
Think of one specific thing God has done for you or your family – something you’re genuinely thankful for. This week, share that story with at least one person who doesn’t know about it yet. You could tell a friend, write it in a card, or share it at dinner. Make His deeds known!
Did You Know?
Psalm 105 goes on to retell the whole story of how God led Israel – from Abraham all the way through the Exodus! The psalmist wanted everyone to remember and celebrate what God had done through history. Sharing God’s story is one of the most powerful things a faith-filled person can do!
