Joy in God's Justice: Celebrating Our Fair Judge
Welcome, Faith Force Justice Celebrators! Today, we’re learning about God’s perfect fairness and how we can rejoice in His righteous judgment, as taught in Psalm 98:9.
Verse Of The Day:
"Let them sing before the LORD, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples with equity." (Psalm 98:9)
Have you ever been treated unfairly? It doesn’t feel good, does it? But did you know that God is the most fair judge of all? Psalm 98:9 tells us to sing and celebrate because God comes to judge the earth with perfect fairness!
When we hear the word “judge,” we might think of someone stern or scary. But God’s judgment is something to celebrate! He always knows what’s true and right, and He treats everyone fairly. No one gets special treatment, and no one is overlooked.
The Bible says God will judge the world in righteousness (doing what’s right) and with equity (being fair to everyone). This means we can trust God to make things right in the end. What a wonderful reason to sing with joy!
Fairness Rhythm Makers:
Create simple musical instruments like shakers (beans in a container) or drums (upside-down pots) to celebrate God’s fairness! Write “God is Fair” on your instruments and make joyful music to celebrate God’s perfect justice.
Time For A Prayer:
Dear God, thank You for being a perfectly fair judge. We're grateful that You always do what is right and treat everyone with fairness. Help us to be fair in how we treat others too. We celebrate and praise You for Your perfect justice! Amen.
