What Does Psalm 145:16 Mean?

Psalm 145 is a huge celebration of how awesome God is. In this short verse, the writer – King David – captures something amazing: God is the one who satisfies the desires and needs of every living thing on earth. When the sun rises, when rain falls, when seeds grow into food – that’s God’s open hand at work. Nothing that lives gets to live without God’s constant care. That means you too!

Think about how many things had to happen – sunlight, rain, farmers, trucks, a store, a kitchen – for that food to get to you. Thank God for each step of the journey and for His open hand that makes it all possible!
