Powerful Purpose: God Working in Us
Verse Of The Day:
"For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose." (Philippians 2:13)
Imagine building something amazing, like a tall castle made of blocks, but you’re not building it alone—someone strong and wise is helping you! Philippians 2:13 teaches us that God is working in us, giving us the desire and strength to do things that matter for Him. He’s like a guide, helping us make choices that fulfill His good purpose for our lives.
God has special plans for each of us, and He’s working inside us to help us want to do what’s right and follow His path. Sometimes we might feel unsure or think something is too hard, but God promises that He’s always there, giving us both the will and the power to act. With His help, we can live with purpose and do amazing things for Him.
When we trust God to guide us, we’re not working alone. He’s working in us and through us, helping us become who He created us to be. Let’s remember that with God’s strength and purpose, we can make a difference every day!
Purpose Path Craft:
Create a “Purpose Path” at home! Draw a path on a piece of paper, and along the path, write down things you feel God is helping you with, like “Kindness,” “Helping others,” “Learning,” or “Being brave.” Decorate the path with stars, hearts, or crosses to show that God’s purpose is with you on every step. Hang it up as a reminder that God is working in you to live with purpose. This craft helps kids remember that God’s power and purpose are always within them, guiding their way.

Dear God, thank You for working in us and helping us live with purpose. Help us to listen to Your guidance and trust that You are giving us the strength to do what is right. Teach us to live each day with the joy of knowing You have a special plan for us. May we always remember that with You, we can make a difference. Amen.
