Jesus Returns with Incredible Power and Glory!
Welcome, Faith Force Glory Watchers! Today, we’re learning about Jesus’ amazing return with power and great glory, as shared in Matthew 24:30-31.
Verse Of The Day:
"Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other." (Matthew 24:30-31)
Have you ever seen something so amazing that everyone around you stopped and stared? That’s what will happen when Jesus returns!
Jesus tells us that “the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven” – everyone on earth will see it! Then comes the most incredible sight ever: Jesus “coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.” This won’t be a quiet arrival; it will be the most powerful, glorious appearance in all of history!
But wait, there’s more! Jesus “will send his angels with a loud trumpet call” to gather all His people “from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.” Imagine angels with trumpets flying everywhere, gathering all of God’s children from all over the world! What an absolutely magnificent day that will be when Jesus appears in all His power and glory!
Glory Watchers Binoculars:
Take two empty toilet paper rolls and tape them together side by side to make binoculars! Decorate them with gold paper and star stickers to represent Jesus’ glory. Use your “Glory Watchers” to look toward the sky and remember that one day you’ll see Jesus returning with incredible power and great glory. Every time you use them, think about the amazing day when all the world will see Him coming on the clouds!
Time For A Prayer:
Dear Jesus, thank You for the amazing promise that You'll return with power and great glory! Help us watch for Your coming and be ready for that incredible day. Thank You that Your angels will gather all Your children from everywhere. Fill our hearts with excitement as we wait to see You coming on the clouds! Amen.
