You don’t need a huge crowd, a fancy building, or a special occasion. When even two or three people gather together in Jesus’s name – He is right there with them! That’s one of the most amazing promises in the Bible. This mission explores Matthew 18:20.
What Does Matthew 18:20 Mean?
Jesus spoke these words to teach His followers about the power of praying and gathering together. “In my name” means with the purpose of honoring and following Jesus – not just any gathering. When believers come together focused on Him, He promises His presence. That means your family prayer time, your small group, your youth group – Jesus is actually there! His presence isn’t just in big church services; it’s wherever His people come together with hearts turned toward Him.
