Faith Builders: Trusting God Even When It’s Hard
Verse Of The Day:
"Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, 'I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!'" (Mark 9:24)
Have you ever tried to build something with blocks, but the tower starts to wobble? That’s what faith can feel like sometimes—strong in some moments, but shaky in others. In Mark 9:24, a father asks Jesus to help him believe more fully, even when doubts creep in. This shows us that it’s okay to ask God for help with our faith.
Faith doesn’t mean never having questions or fears. It means trusting God even when we don’t have all the answers. Like the father in the story, we can pray, “Help me believe!” God is ready to strengthen our hearts and guide us closer to Him. When we trust Him, even a little faith can grow into something big and unshakable.
God loves when we come to Him honestly, asking for His help. Let’s remember that He’s always there to support us, even when our faith feels small. With God’s help, our faith can grow stronger every day!
Faith Ladder Craft:
Create a “Faith Ladder” at home! Draw or cut out a ladder and write “Faith Builders” at the top. On each step of the ladder, write ways to grow in faith, like “Pray,” “Trust God,” “Read the Bible,” or “Ask for Help.” Decorate the ladder with simple designs like stars and hearts. Hang it up to remind yourself that God helps us grow in faith one step at a time. This craft helps kids understand that their faith grows stronger when they trust God.
Time For A Prayer:
Dear God, thank You for loving us even when our faith feels small. Help us to trust You and believe more each day. Teach us to come to You with honesty, asking for Your help when we need it. May our faith grow strong as we learn to follow You more. Amen.
Keep building your faith, Faith Force Faith Builders! Until our next Divine Dispatch, remember that even a little faith can grow strong when you trust God. Let’s take each step with Him, growing in belief and love every day!
