The Power of Waiting on God
Waiting is really hard – especially when you want something right now! But this verse has a secret that will change how you feel about waiting forever.
What Does This Mean?
The Bible says that God is good to people who wait on Him and look for Him. Waiting quietly means trusting that God has a perfect plan, even when nothing seems to be happening. It’s not about doing nothing – it’s about believing that God is working behind the scenes. The wait is never wasted when you’re trusting God.
Hero Challenge
Think of one thing you’ve been praying about for a while. Write it down on a piece of paper and under it write: “I trust God’s timing.” Put it somewhere you’ll see it every day this week as a reminder to keep seeking God even while you wait.
Did You Know?
The book of Lamentations was written after Jerusalem was destroyed, one of the saddest times in Israel’s history. Even in the middle of all that sadness, the writer chose to trust that God was still good. That’s one of the most powerful examples of faith in the whole Bible!
