Build Up Your Faith!
Have you ever built something out of blocks or LEGO bricks and kept adding to it piece by piece until it was amazing? Your faith works kind of the same way! Jude tells us we are supposed to keep building our faith up – stronger, taller, and more solid every day. This mission explores Jude 1:20.
What Does Jude 1:20 Mean?
Jude calls his readers “beloved” – which means deeply loved. Then he gives them a job: build yourselves up in your holy faith. This means faith is not just something you have once and leave alone. It grows when you read God’s Word, when you worship, when you spend time with other faith-filled friends, and especially when you pray. The Holy Spirit helps us pray in ways that go even deeper than words can reach.
Hero Challenge
Pick one “building block” for your faith this week: read a Bible passage every morning, pray out loud before bed, or find a faith-filled friend to encourage. Stick with it all week and see how your faith feels stronger by the end of it.
Did You Know?
Jude is one of the shortest books in the Bible – only one chapter long! But it packs a huge punch. Jude was writing to warn people about those who were trying to pull them away from the truth. His answer was not just “be careful” – it was “build yourself up so strong in faith that you won’t be shaken.” The best defense is a strong foundation!
