Seeking God’s Glory: Finding True Honor in Him

Welcome, Faith Force Glory Seekers! Today, we’re learning about how we should seek honor from God rather than from others, as shared in John 5:44.

Verse Of The Day:

"How can you believe since you accept glory from one another but do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?" (John 5:44)

Imagine a race where everyone is looking to each other for approval, but the true prize is waiting at the finish line, given by the referee. That’s what John 5:44 teaches us—we often seek approval or honor from others, but the true glory comes from God alone. Jesus reminds us that our worth and honor should be rooted in how God sees us, not in how others praise or judge us.

When we live to please God and seek His glory, we focus on what truly matters. The praise of people may feel good for a moment, but only God’s approval lasts forever. By seeking His glory, we align our hearts with His will and find fulfillment in His love, not in temporary accolades.

Let’s live with hearts that seek honor from God alone, focusing on His truth and finding our worth in His eyes. When we do, we will experience His joy and peace, knowing that we are living for the one who truly matters.

Glory Seekers Craft:

Create a crown with “Seek God’s Glory” written on a single-line banner at the top. On the crown, write words like “Truth,” “Faith,” and “Honor,” and decorate it with bright, royal colors. Use this crown as a reminder to seek God’s approval above all else.

Time For A Prayer:

Dear God, thank You for reminding us that true honor comes from You. Help us to live for Your glory and not seek the praise of others. Teach us to find our worth in Your love and to always honor You in all that we do. Amen.

Keep seeking God’s glory, Faith Force Glory Seekers! Until our next Divine Dispatch, remember that the true honor we seek comes from God alone. Let’s live to please Him with our hearts, minds, and actions!
