Eternal Life Explorers: Trusting Jesus, the Resurrection and Life
Verse Of The Day:
"Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?'" (John 11:25-26)
Imagine finding a door that leads to everlasting joy and peace. That’s what Jesus offers us! In John 11:25-26, Jesus tells us that He is the resurrection and the life. When we believe in Him, we have the promise of eternal life with God, where death has no power over us.
Believing in Jesus means trusting that He defeated death so we could live forever with Him. His resurrection gives us hope, and His life fills us with peace. Even when we face challenges or loss, we can hold on to His promise of forever joy.
Let’s put our faith in Jesus, knowing He is the key to eternal life. With Him, we have nothing to fear!
Key of Life Craft:
Create a “Key of Life” craft! Cut out a key shape and write “Jesus: The Resurrection and the Life” on it. Decorate it with bright colors and symbols of life, like hearts and flowers. Hang it up to remind yourself that Jesus is the way to eternal life. This craft helps kids understand the hope we have in Jesus’ promise.
Time For A Prayer:
Dear Jesus, thank You for being the resurrection and the life. Help us to trust in You, knowing that Your promise of eternal life fills us with hope and joy. Teach us to live in faith, following You each day, and sharing Your love with others. Amen.
