Living Word: Jesus Among Us
Verse Of The Day:
"The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth." (John 1:14)
Imagine the most amazing story you’ve ever heard coming to life, with its hero stepping out of the pages to be right by your side. That’s what happened when Jesus, the Word of God, came to earth! John 1:14 tells us that Jesus became human and lived among us to show us God’s love, grace, and truth.
Jesus didn’t stay far away in heaven—He chose to come close to us, to live like us, and to teach us how much God loves us. Through Him, we see God’s glory and experience His grace, which is the gift of love and forgiveness we don’t deserve but receive anyway. And Jesus always speaks the truth, guiding us to live in God’s light.
Let’s celebrate that Jesus, the Word, is still with us today through the Holy Spirit, helping us live in His grace and truth every day. What an incredible gift!
Word of Grace Craft:
Create a “Word of Grace” craft at home! Cut out a large word bubble shape from paper or cardboard. Write “The Word Became Flesh” in the center. Around the bubble, write words like “Grace,” “Truth,” “Love,” and “Glory.” Decorate it with stars, crosses, and other bright designs. Hang it up to remind yourself that Jesus came to show us God’s love and truth. This craft helps kids understand how Jesus, the Word, came to live among us and share God’s grace.

Dear Jesus, thank You for coming to live among us and showing us God’s love and truth. Help us to live in Your grace every day and to share Your love with others. Teach us to follow You and remember that You are always with us. Thank You for being the Word of God who came to bring us light and hope. Amen.
