Mission Briefing
God’s Got You – No Matter What!
Imagine the strongest, bravest, most powerful protector in the universe walking right beside you everywhere you go. That is EXACTLY what God promises in this verse. You are never, ever alone – and that changes everything! This mission explores Isaiah 41:10.
What Does Isaiah 41:10 Mean?
God gives five amazing promises in this one verse: He says don’t be afraid, don’t be dismayed (which means don’t panic or feel hopeless), I will strengthen you, I will help you, and I will hold you up. That’s five promises packed into one breath! The phrase “righteous right hand” was a picture of God’s mighty power holding you so you don’t fall. He’s not just watching from far away – He is right there, holding on to you.
Hero Challenge
Write Isaiah 41:10 on a small piece of paper and put it somewhere you’ll see it when you feel nervous or scared this week – your mirror, your desk, or your backpack. Every time you see it, say it out loud as a reminder that God is with you right now.
Did You Know?
God spoke these words through Isaiah to the people of Israel at a time when they were surrounded by powerful enemies and felt completely overwhelmed. The phrase “Fear not” appears over 365 times in the Bible – one for every day of the year! That means God knew we would need this reminder often, and He wanted to make sure we heard it.
Ages 4-6: Little Hero Question
God says He will hold your hand and help you. Can you think of a time when you were scared and someone helped you feel better? God does that for us too!
Ages 7-9: Growing Hero Question
God gives five promises in this verse. Which one means the most to you right now, and why?
Ages 10-13: Champion Question
Fear can feel really powerful sometimes. How does knowing that God – the most powerful being in existence – personally promises to strengthen and uphold YOU change the way you face things that scare you?
♥ Mission Prayer
