Mission Briefing
God Has Wonderful Plans!
Have you ever gotten a surprise that was even better than you expected? Isaiah discovered something incredible – God had been planning amazing things since the very beginning of time! Let’s give a shout of praise for God’s wonderful plans! This mission explores Isaiah 25:1.
What Does Isaiah 25:1 Mean?
Isaiah was a prophet who lived about 700 years before Jesus was born. But he could already see that God was faithful – that everything God planned always came true. “Formed of old” means God’s good plans go way, way back – they aren’t last-minute or made up as He goes! “Faithful and sure” means we can absolutely count on them. That’s the kind of God worth praising with everything you’ve got!
Hero Challenge
Start a “God is Wonderful” list this week! Write down at least five things God has done that are amazing – in your life, in nature, in the Bible, or in history. Then spend a moment praising Him for each one. Praise is a superpower that shifts our hearts from worry to wonder!
Did You Know?
The book of Isaiah is sometimes called “the fifth Gospel” because it contains so many prophecies about Jesus – written 700 years before Jesus was born! Isaiah described the virgin birth, the Messiah coming as a servant, and even details about the crucifixion. God’s plans really were formed long ago, and every single one came true!
