Verse Of The Day:
"The Lord replied, ‘My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.’" (Exodus 33:14)
Imagine you’re going on a big adventure, maybe hiking up a mountain or exploring a new place. Wouldn’t it be great to have someone strong, kind, and wise with you every step of the way? That’s exactly what God promises in Exodus 33:14. He tells us that His presence will be with us, no matter where we go or what we do, and that He will give us rest.
God’s presence is like a warm hug or a gentle hand guiding you when you’re unsure. Knowing that God is always with us helps us feel safe and gives us the strength to keep going, even when things get tough. And when we’re tired, God offers us rest—not just sleep, but a deep peace that refreshes our hearts and minds.
This verse reminds us that we don’t have to face anything alone. Whether we’re at school, playing with friends, or lying down to sleep at night, God is right there with us, giving us rest and peace. All we have to do is trust in Him.
God’s Presence Lantern:
Create a “God’s Presence Lantern” at home. You can use a small jar, paper lantern, or even a paper bag. Decorate it with stars, crosses, or other symbols that remind you of God’s presence. Inside, place a battery-powered candle or a glow stick. Each night, before bed, turn on your lantern and take a moment to remember that God is with you and that His presence will give you rest. This lantern will be a glowing reminder that you’re never alone, and that God’s peace is always with you.
