Mission Briefing
You Have an Inheritance Waiting for You!
Have you ever heard of someone leaving a treasure or gift for another person in their will? God has something even better planned for you – an incredible inheritance that He set aside just for you before the world was even made! This mission explores Ephesians 1:11.
What Does Ephesians 1:11 Mean?
An inheritance is something precious that is given to you – usually from someone who loves you. Paul tells us in Ephesians that when we belong to God, we are given an inheritance – something amazing that He has prepared for us. God doesn’t just make it up as He goes along. He works everything out according to His perfect plan and will. That means your life has real purpose and meaning because God has been working on it all along.
Hero Challenge
Write down three things you feel like God made you to do or be good at. Think about how those things might be part of the special inheritance and purpose He has for your life. Share your list with a parent and pray about it together.
Did You Know?
The word “predestined” in this verse comes from a Greek word that means “marked out in advance.” God doesn’t make mistakes – He planned your place in His family carefully and on purpose. You are not an accident. You are chosen!
