Courageous Hearts: Trusting God and Being Strong

Welcome, Faith Force Courageous Hearts! Today, we’re learning about how to be strong and full of courage, as shared in Psalm 31:24.

Verse Of The Day:

"Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord." (Psalm 31:24)

Psalm 31-24 Image

Imagine standing in a big, open field with strong winds blowing, but you’re not afraid—you stand tall and brave because you know you’re safe. That’s how we can feel when we trust in God! Psalm 31:24 tells us to be strong and take heart, because our hope is in the Lord. When we put our trust in God, He gives us the courage we need to face anything.

God doesn’t just want us to be brave on our own; He gives us the strength to face challenges and tough moments. When we feel scared, nervous, or unsure, we can remember that God is right beside us, helping us be strong. We can trust Him with everything in our lives—our worries, our hopes, and even the things that make us feel weak.

Being courageous means having a heart that trusts God no matter what. When we hope in Him, we can stand firm, knowing that He is our protector, our guide, and our source of strength. With God’s help, there’s nothing we can’t face, and He promises to always be with us, giving us the courage we need.

Heart of Courage Craft:

Create a “Heart of Courage” craft at home! Cut out a large heart from paper or cardboard, and decorate it with words like “Strength,” “Hope,” and “Bravery.” You can add symbols like shields, stars, or crosses to remind you of God’s protection. Each day, write down something that makes you feel brave because of God’s love and place it inside your “Heart of Courage.” This craft helps kids focus on how trusting in God gives them strength and courage every day.

Time For A Prayer:

Dear God, thank You for giving us the strength to be brave and courageous. Help us to trust in You with all our hearts, knowing that You are always with us. Give us the courage to face each day with confidence, because our hope is in You. May we always be strong in Your love, no matter what comes our way. Amen.

Keep trusting in God and being courageous, Faith Force Courageous Hearts! Until our next Divine Dispatch, remember that God is your source of strength, and with Him, you can be brave in any situation. Let’s keep hoping in the Lord and living with bold, courageous hearts!
