Glory Seekers: Seeing God's Glory Fill the Earth
Verse Of The Day:
"For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea." (Habakkuk 2:14)
Imagine standing on a beach, looking out at the ocean stretching as far as you can see. The water goes on and on, covering everything. Habakkuk 2:14 tells us that one day, God’s glory will be everywhere, just like the ocean covers the sea. The whole world will know who God is and how amazing His love, power, and goodness are!
God’s glory is like a bright light that shines everywhere. Even though we can already see His glory in the beauty of nature, in the kindness of others, and in the way He cares for us, one day it will be even more amazing! Everyone will know God’s greatness and will understand His wonderful plans.
As followers of Jesus, we get to be a part of sharing His glory with the world right now! When we live in a way that honors God, showing kindness, love, and truth, we’re helping others see how awesome God is. And when we tell others about Jesus, we’re spreading the knowledge of His glory, helping to fill the earth with God’s light!
Glory Globe Craft:
Create a “Glory Globe” craft at home! Start by drawing or cutting out a picture of the earth and place it in the center of a piece of paper. Around the earth, write or draw things that show God’s glory, like “Nature,” “Kindness,” “Love,” or “Jesus’ Sacrifice.” Use bright colors and symbols like stars or light rays to show how God’s glory spreads across the earth. This craft helps kids understand how God’s glory will one day fill the whole world, just like the waters cover the sea.
Time For A Prayer:
Dear God, thank You for filling the earth with Your glory. Help us to see Your greatness in everything around us and to share Your love and truth with others. May we be a part of spreading Your glory so that everyone can know how amazing You are. Amen.
