Shield Bearers: Deflecting with Faith

Welcome, Faith Force Shield Bearers! Today, we focus on the power of faith to shield us from life’s challenges, as highlighted in Ephesians 6:16.

Verse Of The Day:

"In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one." (Ephesians 6:16)

Ephesians 6:16 Image

Imagine you’re a brave knight in a fierce battle, and the arrows keep coming your way. What if you had a shield that could not only block these arrows but extinguish them the moment they touch it? Ephesians 6:16 describes such a powerful tool—the shield of faith. This isn’t just any shield; it’s one that can put out the fiery arrows of doubt, fear, and discouragement that life sometimes throws at us.

This verse teaches us that our faith in God acts as this incredible shield. When we trust in God’s promises and His goodness, we have the strength to face any challenge and overcome the fiery trials that come our way. It’s about holding onto faith, even when the battle gets tough, knowing that God is with us, protecting and guiding us through.

Faith Shield Craft:

Create your own “Faith Shield” using cardboard, paint, and decorations. On your shield, write or depict things that strengthen your faith, like Bible verses, symbols of hope, or names of people who encourage you in your faith journey. Display your shield in your room as a daily reminder to stay strong in faith.

Time For A Prayer:

Dear Lord, thank You for giving us the shield of faith to protect us from the challenges we face. Help us to hold it high, trusting in Your strength and promises to keep us safe from harm. Strengthen our faith each day, so we can stand firm no matter what comes our way. Amen.

March forward with confidence, Faith Force Shield Bearers! Remember, until our next Divine Dispatch, your faith is your strongest defense. Keep your shield ready and your heart steadfast in God’s truth.
