Bridge Builders: The Path to Forgiveness

Hey there, Faith Force Peacemakers! Strap on your construction hats because today, we're learning how to build bridges of forgiveness that connect us all.

Verse Of The Day:

"Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you." (Colossians 3:13)

Imagine you’re on an adventure across a vast land filled with valleys and rivers. To get from one side to the other, you need bridges. Just like in our journey through life, sometimes we come across gaps caused by misunderstandings or hurt feelings. Colossians 3:13 teaches us that forgiveness is the bridge that brings us back together, healing those gaps and making our connections stronger than ever.

This verse encourages us to be patient and understanding with each other, to forgive freely just as God forgives us. It’s not always easy, but building these bridges of forgiveness helps us create a world where everyone feels loved, valued, and connected.

Forgiveness Bridge Craft:

Construct your own “Forgiveness Bridge” using materials like cardboard, paper, or even building blocks. As you build, think of a time you forgave someone or were forgiven, and how it made you feel. On your bridge, write or draw messages of forgiveness and understanding. Place your bridge somewhere you’ll see it as a reminder of the power of forgiveness in connecting hearts.

Time For A Prayer:

God of Grace, thank You for the gift of forgiveness that you freely offer to us. Help us to follow Your example by forgiving others, building bridges of peace and understanding in our lives. Give us the strength to heal divisions and to walk in love and unity with those around us. Amen.

Keep building those bridges, Faith Force Peacemakers! Every act of forgiveness is a step towards a more loving and united world. Remember, the strongest bridges are built on kindness, understanding, and grace. Until our next Divine Dispatch, let’s be bridge builders in every heart and community!
