Daniel

Alias: The Dream Interpreter

Daniel

Daniel's Journey

Daniel was a young man of faith who was taken captive to Babylon, a foreign land with foreign gods and foreign rules. Rather than giving in to the pressure around him, Daniel chose to honor God in everything – from the food he ate to the prayers he prayed. When thrown into a den of lions for refusing to stop praying, Daniel emerged unharmed, proving that faithfulness to God is always worth the cost.

Greatest Feats

Survived the Lions' Den: When enemies tricked King Darius into throwing Daniel into a pit of hungry lions, Daniel walked out the next morning without a scratch — because God sent an angel to shut the lions' mouths.
Interpreted Nebuchadnezzar's Dream: Daniel revealed and explained the king's forgotten dream about a massive statue, a feat no wise man or magician could accomplish, proving God's wisdom is supreme.
Stood Firm on His Diet: As a teenager, Daniel refused the king's rich food and wine to honour God, and after ten days looked healthier than everyone else — his very first act of courageous faith.

Arch-Nemesis

The Jealous Officials: A group of jealous advisors conspired against Daniel, tricking the king into signing a law specifically designed to get Daniel killed for praying to God.

Allies

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: Daniel's three faithful friends who stood alongside him in Babylon, refused to bow to idols, and were thrown into a blazing furnace — yet came out unharmed.
King Darius: Even the king who was tricked into condemning Daniel admired him, fasted for him overnight, and rejoiced when Daniel survived the lions' den.
