HERO MISSION
Mary’s Obedience
Meet the Hero:
Mary was a young woman when an angel brought her surprising news. God had chosen her for a very special role. Even though she did not understand everything, Mary trusted God and chose to obey.
Mission Verse:
“I am the Lord’s servant. May your word to me be fulfilled.” – Luke 1:38
Mission Briefing:
Mary’s obedience was not forced. She willingly said yes to God’s plan. She trusted that God’s ways were good, even when they were unexpected.
Obedience does not mean understanding every detail. It means trusting the One who does.
Obedience is saying yes to God with a willing heart.
Put It Into Practice
This week, practice obedience like Mary:
Listen carefully when your parents or teachers speak
Follow instructions without complaining
Pray and ask God to help you trust His plan
Hero Mission Activity:
Create a “Yes to God” card.
Write one area where you can practice better obedience this week and pray about it together as a family.
Mission Prayer:
God, thank You for Mary’s example of obedience. Help us trust You and say yes to Your guidance, even when we don’t understand everything. Amen.
