Welcome, Faith Force Life Race Finishers! Today, we’re celebrating Paul’s amazing graduation speech about completing life’s most important race with victory, as shared in 2 Timothy 4:7-8.
Verse Of The Day:
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day - and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing." (2 Timothy 4:7-8)
Have you ever watched someone give a graduation speech about all they accomplished? Paul gives the most amazing life graduation speech ever!
Paul can proudly say three incredible things: “I have fought the good fight” (he battled for what’s right), “I have finished the race” (he didn’t quit but completed his mission), and “I have kept the faith” (he stayed loyal to Jesus through everything). That’s the ultimate triple achievement!
But here’s the best part – “there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me.” Paul earned the ultimate graduation prize! And this crown isn’t just for Paul – it’s “for all who have longed for his appearing.” Everyone who faithfully fights, finishes, and keeps faith gets the same amazing crown of righteousness from Jesus Himself!
Life Race Completion Certificate:
Create your own “Life Race Completion Certificate” using fancy paper or cardboard! Write “I Am Training To:” at the top, then list the three goals: “Fight the Good Fight,” “Finish the Race,” and “Keep the Faith.” Add spaces to track your progress in each area – like helping others (good fight), not giving up on hard things (finishing the race), and staying faithful to God (keeping faith). Add a gold seal or sticker and sign it as your commitment. Keep it where you can see it and remember you’re training for the crown of righteousness!
Time For A Prayer:
Dear Lord, help us live so that one day we can say like Paul: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith!" Give us strength to fight for what's right, determination to finish what we start, and loyalty to keep our faith strong. Thank You for the crown of righteousness waiting for all who long for Jesus' appearing! Amen.
